Cookie Policy
A simple acknowledgement gets the entry notice out of your way. Advertising is part of the free service; optional advertising cookies remain a separate, off-by-default choice for new visitors. You can reopen Cookie settings at any time.
1. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small records a website can store through your browser. Local storage is another browser feature that retains values between visits. This app mainly uses local storage for the player, your requested saved-station features, and your settings. Authentication, hosting, and security services may use cookies or other session technologies.
Not all browser storage has the same purpose. Service functionality and the preferences you ask the app to remember are distinct from optional third-party advertising. Blocking all storage can affect saved stations, repeat notices, or administrative sign-in.
2. What “Accept & continue” means
Clicking “Accept & continue” agrees to the Terms & Conditions and acknowledges this Cookie Policy and the Privacy Policy. It saves the policy version and acceptance time in this browser. Reading a policy, scrolling, navigating, or playing a station is not recorded as clicking that button.
The button does not switch optional advertising cookies on, subscribe you to marketing, or waive privacy rights. If you have already made an explicit, unexpired advertising choice, it remains a separate setting. The acknowledgement notice returns when its saved record is cleared or the published policy version changes.
3. App-managed browser storage
The table describes keys managed by the radio app. Browsers can clear them earlier. An app-enforced freshness period does not necessarily erase an expired value from your device immediately. Provider cookies and authentication records are not all under the radio app’s control.

4. Optional advertising
Google advertising is disabled for a new visitor unless they separately enable optional advertising in Cookie settings and the required service configuration and consent checks pass. The optional checkbox is not pre-selected for a new visitor. Choosing necessary-only does not create an ad-free service: direct sponsorships and house promotions still appear. App-hosted creative files may be delivered without an advertising profile; unreviewed external creative hosts are not requested under that choice.
If you enable optional advertising, Google and its delivery providers may use cookies, device information, and connection information for delivery, frequency controls, security, and measurement. This app requests non-personalized ads; such ads may still require cookie permission. Applicable provider controls may ask for additional choices. Accepting our entry notice is not a substitute for them.
5. Stations and other external connections
Live audio comes directly from the broadcaster rather than from a recording hosted by this app. Radio Browser supplies directory information and receives listening-start requests; artwork may come from other hosts. They receive ordinary network information as described in our Privacy Policy. Visiting a station or advertiser website also creates a separate connection to it.
Our Cookie settings govern optional advertising initiated by this app. They cannot remove commercials already in a station’s programme, control a broadcaster’s privacy practices, or delete cookies that belong to another domain.
6. Change or withdraw your choice
Open Cookie settings from the footer or this page. Choose “Use necessary only”, or change the optional checkbox and select “Save preferences”. Closing that window without saving makes no change. Choosing optional cookies does not itself accept the terms.
Turning optional advertising cookies off prevents new tracking-capable Google ad requests from this app, not direct sponsor placements or house promotions. If advertising code has already loaded, the page refreshes to stop that code; this can pause audio. Existing third-party cookies may remain until you remove them through browser controls. Clearing all site data also removes saved stations and the acknowledgement record.
